func ForcedUpdateCheck(cmd *cobra.Command, _ []string) error

ForcedUpdateCheck performs an update check for the telepresence binary on the current os/arch and prints a message on stdout if an update is available. The check will bypass the cache, but will update it with the result.

func RaiseMessage

func RaiseMessage(cmd *cobra.Command, _ []string) error

RaiseMessage is what is called from `PostRunE` in a command and is responsible for raising the message for the command used.

func UpdateCheckIfDue

func UpdateCheckIfDue(cmd *cobra.Command, _ []string) error

UpdateCheckIfDue performs an update check for the telepresence binary on the current os/arch and prints a message on stdout if an update is available. The result is cached and will be reused for 24 hours.
