func RESTConfigToConfig(cfg *rest.Config) (*clientcmdapi.Config, error)

RESTConfigToConfig transforms a rest.Config to a clientcmdapi.Config. Some properties like e.g. a predefined namespace / proxy cannot be translated and might be lost. Same applies for custom dials / transports that cannot be serialized.
