func AnonymizeIP

func AnonymizeIP(ip net.IP, formatV4 string, formatV6 string) string

AnonymizeIP is like String(): it returns the string form of the IP address ip. Some values are replaced by "xxx"/"xxxx" depending on formatV4 and formatV6 parameters. It returns one of 4 forms:

• "<nil>", if ip has length 0
• dotted decimal ("192.0.2.1"), if ip is an IPv4 or IP4-mapped IPv6 address
• IPv6 conforming to RFC 5952 ("2001:db8::1"), if ip is a valid IPv6 address
• the hexadecimal form of ip, without punctuation, if no other cases apply

formatV4 and formatV6 are the list of indexes (starting from) for which show the real value of. IPv4 addresses are 4 bytes with indexes: 1.2.3.4 IPv6 addresses are 8 words (1 word = 2 bytes) with indexes: 1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8 A byte/word of the address is replaced with "xxx"/"xxxx" if its index is not in the corresponding formatV4/formatV6 so 192.168.12.34 will return 192.168.xxx.xxx is FormatV4 = "12" and fe80::abcd:efab:1234:5678 will return fe80::xxx:xxxx:xxxx:5678%eth0 if FormatV6="18" This function and its 3 functions it uses are copied and modified from net.IP.String() Go std lib
