Documentation

Overview

Package servicedirectory provides access to the Service Directory API.

For product documentation, see: https://cloud.google.com/service-directory

Library status

These client libraries are officially supported by Google. However, this library is considered complete and is in maintenance mode. This means that we will address critical bugs and security issues but will not add any new features.

When possible, we recommend using our newer [Cloud Client Libraries for Go](https://pkg.go.dev/cloud.google.com/go) that are still actively being worked and iterated on.

Creating a client

Usage example:

import "google.golang.org/api/servicedirectory/v1"
...
ctx := context.Background()
servicedirectoryService, err := servicedirectory.NewService(ctx)

In this example, Google Application Default Credentials are used for authentication. For information on how to create and obtain Application Default Credentials, see https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/application-default-credentials.

Other authentication options

To use an API key for authentication (note: some APIs do not support API keys), use google.golang.org/api/option.WithAPIKey:

servicedirectoryService, err := servicedirectory.NewService(ctx, option.WithAPIKey("AIza..."))

To use an OAuth token (e.g., a user token obtained via a three-legged OAuth flow, use google.golang.org/api/option.WithTokenSource:

config := &oauth2.Config{...}
// ...
token, err := config.Exchange(ctx, ...)
servicedirectoryService, err := servicedirectory.NewService(ctx, option.WithTokenSource(config.TokenSource(ctx, token)))

See google.golang.org/api/option.ClientOption for details on options.

Types

type APIService

type APIService struct {
	BasePath string // API endpoint base URL
	UserAgent string // optional additional User-Agent fragment

	Projects *ProjectsService
	// contains filtered or unexported fields
}

func New deprecated

func New(client *http.Client) (*APIService, error)

New creates a new APIService. It uses the provided http.Client for requests.

Deprecated: please use NewService instead. To provide a custom HTTP client, use option.WithHTTPClient. If you are using google.golang.org/api/googleapis/transport.APIKey, use option.WithAPIKey with NewService instead.

func NewService

func NewService(ctx context.Context, opts ...option.ClientOption) (*APIService, error)

NewService creates a new APIService.

type Binding

type Binding struct {

type Empty

type Empty struct {
	// ServerResponse contains the HTTP response code and headers from the server.
	googleapi.ServerResponse `json:"-"`
}

Empty: A generic empty message that you can re-use to avoid defining duplicated empty messages in your APIs. A typical example is to use it as the request or the response type of an API method. For instance: service Foo { rpc Bar(google.protobuf.Empty) returns (google.protobuf.Empty); }

type Endpoint

type Endpoint struct {
	// Address: Optional. An IPv4 or IPv6 address. Service Directory rejects bad
	// addresses like: * `8.8.8` * `8.8.8.8:53` * `test:bad:address` * `[::1]` *
	// `[::1]:8080` Limited to 45 characters.
	Address string `json:"address,omitempty"`
	// Annotations: Optional. Annotations for the endpoint. This data can be
	// consumed by service clients. Restrictions: * The entire annotations
	// dictionary may contain up to 512 characters, spread accoss all key-value
	// pairs. Annotations that go beyond this limit are rejected * Valid annotation
	// keys have two segments: an optional prefix and name, separated by a slash
	// (/). The name segment is required and must be 63 characters or less,
	// beginning and ending with an alphanumeric character ([a-z0-9A-Z]) with
	// dashes (-), underscores (_), dots (.), and alphanumerics between. The prefix
	// is optional. If specified, the prefix must be a DNS subdomain: a series of
	// DNS labels separated by dots (.), not longer than 253 characters in total,
	// followed by a slash (/) Annotations that fails to meet these requirements
	// are rejected. Note: This field is equivalent to the `metadata` field in the
	// v1beta1 API. They have the same syntax and read/write to the same location
	// in Service Directory.
	Annotations map[string]string `json:"annotations,omitempty"`
	// Name: Immutable. The resource name for the endpoint in the format
	// `projects/*/locations/*/namespaces/*/services/*/endpoints/*`.
	Name string `json:"name,omitempty"`
	// Network: Immutable. The Google Compute Engine network (VPC) of the endpoint
	// in the format `projects//locations/global/networks/*`. The project must be
	// specified by project number (project id is rejected). Incorrectly formatted
	// networks are rejected, we also check to make sure that you have the
	// servicedirectory.networks.attach permission on the project specified.
	Network string `json:"network,omitempty"`
	// Port: Optional. Service Directory rejects values outside of `[0, 65535]`.
	Port int64 `json:"port,omitempty"`
	// Uid: Output only. The globally unique identifier of the endpoint in the
	// UUID4 format.
	Uid string `json:"uid,omitempty"`

func (s Endpoint) MarshalJSON() ([]byte, error)

type Expr

type Expr struct {
	// Description: Optional. Description of the expression. This is a longer text
	// which describes the expression, e.g. when hovered over it in a UI.
	Description string `json:"description,omitempty"`
	// Expression: Textual representation of an expression in Common Expression
	// Language syntax.
	Expression string `json:"expression,omitempty"`
	// Location: Optional. String indicating the location of the expression for
	// error reporting, e.g. a file name and a position in the file.
	Location string `json:"location,omitempty"`
	// Title: Optional. Title for the expression, i.e. a short string describing
	// its purpose. This can be used e.g. in UIs which allow to enter the
	// expression.
	Title string `json:"title,omitempty"`
	// ForceSendFields is a list of field names (e.g. "Description") to
	// unconditionally include in API requests. By default, fields with empty or

Expr: Represents a textual expression in the Common Expression Language (CEL) syntax. CEL is a C-like expression language. The syntax and semantics of CEL are documented at https://github.com/google/cel-spec. Example (Comparison): title: "Summary size limit" description: "Determines if a summary is less than 100 chars" expression: "document.summary.size() < 100" Example (Equality): title: "Requestor is owner" description: "Determines if requestor is the document owner" expression: "document.owner == request.auth.claims.email" Example (Logic): title: "Public documents" description: "Determine whether the document should be publicly visible" expression: "document.type != 'private' && document.type != 'internal'" Example (Data Manipulation): title: "Notification string" description: "Create a notification string with a timestamp." expression: "'New message received at ' + string(document.create_time)" The exact variables and functions that may be referenced within an expression are determined by the service that evaluates it. See the service documentation for additional information.

	// conditional role binding * Adding a conditional role binding to a policy *
	// Changing a conditional role binding in a policy * Removing any role binding,
	// with or without a condition, from a policy that includes conditions
	// **Important:** If you use IAM Conditions, you must include the `etag` field
	// whenever you call `setIamPolicy`. If you omit this field, then IAM allows
	// you to overwrite a version `3` policy with a version `1` policy, and all of
	// the conditions in the version `3` policy are lost. If a policy does not
	// include any conditions, operations on that policy may specify any valid
	// version or leave the field unset. To learn which resources support
	// conditions in their IAM policies, see the IAM documentation
	// (https://cloud.google.com/iam/help/conditions/resource-policies).

Policy: An Identity and Access Management (IAM) policy, which specifies access controls for Google Cloud resources. A `Policy` is a collection of `bindings`. A `binding` binds one or more `members`, or principals, to a single `role`. Principals can be user accounts, service accounts, Google groups, and domains (such as G Suite). A `role` is a named list of permissions; each `role` can be an IAM predefined role or a user-created custom role. For some types of Google Cloud resources, a `binding` can also specify a `condition`, which is a logical expression that allows access to a resource only if the expression evaluates to `true`. A condition can add constraints based on attributes of the request, the resource, or both. To learn which resources support conditions in their IAM policies, see the IAM documentation (https://cloud.google.com/iam/help/conditions/resource-policies). **JSON example:** ``` { "bindings": [ { "role": "roles/resourcemanager.organizationAdmin", "members": [ "user:mike@example.com", "group:admins@example.com", "domain:google.com", "serviceAccount:my-project-id@appspot.gserviceaccount.com" ] }, { "role": "roles/resourcemanager.organizationViewer", "members": [ "user:eve@example.com" ], "condition": { "title": "expirable access", "description": "Does not grant access after Sep 2020", "expression": "request.time < timestamp('2020-10-01T00:00:00.000Z')", } } ], "etag": "BwWWja0YfJA=", "version": 3 } ``` **YAML example:** ``` bindings: - members: - user:mike@example.com - group:admins@example.com - domain:google.com - serviceAccount:my-project-id@appspot.gserviceaccount.com role: roles/resourcemanager.organizationAdmin - members: - user:eve@example.com role: roles/resourcemanager.organizationViewer condition: title: expirable access description: Does not grant access after Sep 2020 expression: request.time < timestamp('2020-10-01T00:00:00.000Z') etag: BwWWja0YfJA= version: 3 ``` For a description of IAM and its features, see the IAM documentation (https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/).

func (*ProjectsLocationsNamespacesServicesListCall) Do

Do executes the "servicedirectory.projects.locations.namespaces.services.list" call. Any non-2xx status code is an error. Response headers are in either *ListServicesResponse.ServerResponse.Header or (if a response was returned at all) in error.(*googleapi.Error).Header. Use googleapi.IsNotModified to check whether the returned error was because http.StatusNotModified was returned.

func (*ProjectsLocationsNamespacesServicesListCall) Fields

Fields allows partial responses to be retrieved. See https://developers.google.com/gdata/docs/2.0/basics#PartialResponse for more details.

func (*ProjectsLocationsNamespacesServicesListCall) Filter

Filter sets the optional parameter "filter": The filter to list results by. General `filter` string syntax: ` ()` * “ can be `name` or `annotations.` for map field * “ can be `<`, `>`, `<=`, `>=`, `!=`, `=`, `:`. Of which `:` means `HAS`, and is roughly the same as `=` * “ must be the same data type as field * “ can be `AND`, `OR`, `NOT` Examples of valid filters: * `annotations.owner` returns services that have a annotation with the key `owner`, this is the same as `annotations:owner` * `annotations.protocol=gRPC` returns services that have key/value `protocol=gRPC` * `name>projects/my-project/locations/us-east1/namespaces/my-namespace/services /service-c` returns services that have name that is alphabetically later than the string, so "service-e" is returned but "service-a" is not * `annotations.owner!=sd AND annotations.foo=bar` returns services that have `owner` in annotation key but value is not `sd` AND have key/value `foo=bar` * `doesnotexist.foo=bar` returns an empty list. Note that service doesn't have a field called "doesnotexist". Since the filter does not match any services, it returns no results For more information about filtering, see API Filtering (https://aip.dev/160).

func (*ProjectsLocationsNamespacesServicesListCall) OrderBy

OrderBy sets the optional parameter "orderBy": The order to list results by. General `order_by` string syntax: ` () (,)` * “ allows value: `name` * “ ascending or descending order by “. If this is left blank, `asc` is used Note that an empty `order_by` string results in default order, which is order by `name` in ascending order.

func (*ProjectsLocationsNamespacesServicesListCall) PageSize

PageSize sets the optional parameter "pageSize": The maximum number of items to return.

func (*ProjectsLocationsNamespacesServicesListCall) PageToken

PageToken sets the optional parameter "pageToken": The next_page_token value returned from a previous List request, if any.

func (*ProjectsLocationsNamespacesServicesListCall) Pages
