wmapi

WMAPI is an HTTP-based API exposing the internals of the system's window manager. It strives to be simple, cross-platform (WIP) and providing as much data as feasible.

Backends

Currently only Linux (X11) backend is under development. Support for Wayland, macOS, and Windows is planned for the future.

Frontends

REST - work in progress
Websockets - planned
GraphQL - planned
gRPC - planned
