icat

A command-line tool that prints a given image to the terminal using coloured block characters. It supports PNG, JPEG and GIF images.

The image output is sized based on the width of the terminal. The terminal must support true colour output.

Installation

Run go get -u github.com/patrickmcnamara/icat.

Usage

Run icat image.png and it will print that given image to the terminal.
