Use

mkdir ~/.config/pocket
echo "MY_POCKET_API_CONSUMER_KEY" > ~/.config/pocket/consumer_key
pocket list
# Visit the URL listed in order to authenticate with Pocket
# After succesful authentication, your Pocket article list will appear
