Hello World
A simple application using SCION that sends one packet.
You must call it with a local AS address, and a remote one. For instance:
go run helloworld.go -local 17-ffaa:1:a,[127.0.0.1] -remote 17-ffaa:1:a,[127.0.0.1]:1234
Replace 17-ffaa:1:a
with your local AS address. You can use 17-ffaa:1:a
or
replace it with any existing AS address, including your local one's.
Walkthrough:
This SCION application is very simple, and it demonstrates what is needed to send data using SCION:
- Parse addresses from string to binary structures.
- Initialize the SCION library.
- Obtain a path manager.
- Obtain paths from source to destination.
- Obtain a connection using one of these paths.
- Use that connection to send the data.
