func ExpBackoff(backoff *time.Duration, maxBackoff time.Duration) time.Duration

ExpBackoff calculates an exponential (power 2) backoff given the last backoff duration and the maximum backoff duration.

func WaitUntilOnline

func WaitUntilOnline(provider providers.Provider, timeout time.Duration) error

WaitUntilOnline waits for the provider to come online. If the provider will never be online, or if the timeout elapses before it is online, this returns an appropriate error.
