Extreme Error Tracking on Datadog with Monitoring

Motivation

I would like to explore Error Tracking feature on Datadog as an alternate to Sentry. In addition, I also want to setup up monitoring and alerting based on the above errors. These steps should ideally by setup via API. Optional, explore setting up Rules (Finops budget) based on the error rate.

Setup

• Sign Up for Datadog Trail.
• Install DD Agent v7.53.0 on machine (macOS). For simplicity, I chose not to use Docker.

• Enable DD Logging.
