Package populate holds the code to augment a partial R/W checkout with a symlink forest into a SlothFS workspace.

Checkout updates a RW dir with new symlinks to the given RO dir. Returns the files that should be touched.

func DerefManifest(service *gitiles.Service, mf *manifest.Manifest) error

DerefManifest uses the Gitiles JSON interface to fill in Project.Revision and Project.CloneURL in the given manifest.

func FetchManifest

func FetchManifest(service *gitiles.Service, repo, branch string) (*manifest.Manifest, error)

FetchManifest gets the default manifest file from a Gitiles server.
