Overview ¶
Package pinpointemail provides the client and types for making API requests to Amazon Pinpoint Email Service.
This document contains reference information for the Amazon Pinpoint (https://aws.amazon.com/pinpoint) Email API, version 1.0. This document is best used in conjunction with the Amazon Pinpoint Developer Guide (http://docs.aws.amazon.com/pinpoint/latest/developerguide/welcome.html).
The Amazon Pinpoint API is available in the US East (N. Virginia) Region at the following endpoint: email.us-east-1.amazonaws.com

Using the Client ¶
To Amazon Pinpoint Email Service with the SDK use the New function to create a new service client. With that client you can make API requests to the service. These clients are safe to use concurrently.

type BehaviorOnMxFailure ¶
type BehaviorOnMxFailure string
The action that you want Amazon Pinpoint to take if it can't read the required MX record for a custom MAIL FROM domain. When you set this value to UseDefaultValue, Amazon Pinpoint uses amazonses.com as the MAIL FROM domain. When you set this value to RejectMessage, Amazon Pinpoint returns a MailFromDomainNotVerified error, and doesn't attempt to deliver the email.
These behaviors are taken when the custom MAIL FROM domain configuration is in the Pending, Failed, and TemporaryFailure states.
