Functions ¶
func Canary_IsConstruct ¶ added in v2.99.0
func Canary_IsConstruct(x interface{}) *bool
Checks if `x` is a construct.
Use this method instead of `instanceof` to properly detect `Construct` instances, even when the construct library is symlinked.
Explanation: in JavaScript, multiple copies of the `constructs` library on disk are seen as independent, completely different libraries. As a consequence, the class `Construct` in each copy of the `constructs` library is seen as a different class, and an instance of one class will not test as `instanceof` the other class. `npm install` will not create installations like this, but users may manually symlink construct libraries together or use a monorepo tool: in those cases, multiple copies of the `constructs` library can be accidentally installed, and `instanceof` will behave unpredictably. It is safest to avoid using `instanceof`, and using this type-testing method instead.
Returns: true if `x` is an object created from a class which extends `Construct`.
func Canary_IsOwnedResource ¶ added in v2.99.0
func Canary_IsOwnedResource(construct constructs.IConstruct) *bool
Returns true if the construct was created by CDK, and false otherwise.
func Canary_IsResource ¶ added in v2.99.0
func Canary_IsResource(construct constructs.IConstruct) *bool
Check whether the given construct is a Resource.
func CfnCanary_CFN_RESOURCE_TYPE_NAME ¶
func CfnCanary_CFN_RESOURCE_TYPE_NAME() *string
func CfnCanary_IsCfnElement ¶
func CfnCanary_IsCfnElement(x interface{}) *bool
Returns `true` if a construct is a stack element (i.e. part of the synthesized cloudformation template).
Uses duck-typing instead of `instanceof` to allow stack elements from different versions of this library to be included in the same stack.
Returns: The construct as a stack element or undefined if it is not a stack element.
func CfnCanary_IsCfnResource ¶
func CfnCanary_IsCfnResource(x interface{}) *bool
Check whether the given object is a CfnResource.
func CfnCanary_IsConstruct ¶
func CfnCanary_IsConstruct(x interface{}) *bool
Returns: true if `x` is an object created from a class which extends `Construct`.
func CfnGroup_CFN_RESOURCE_TYPE_NAME ¶ added in v2.37.0
func CfnGroup_CFN_RESOURCE_TYPE_NAME() *string
func CfnGroup_IsCfnElement ¶ added in v2.37.0
func CfnGroup_IsCfnElement(x interface{}) *bool
Returns `true` if a construct is a stack element (i.e. part of the synthesized cloudformation template).
Uses duck-typing instead of `instanceof` to allow stack elements from different versions of this library to be included in the same stack.
Returns: The construct as a stack element or undefined if it is not a stack element.
func CfnGroup_IsCfnResource ¶ added in v2.37.0
func CfnGroup_IsCfnResource(x interface{}) *bool
Check whether the given object is a CfnResource.
func CfnGroup_IsConstruct ¶ added in v2.37.0
func CfnGroup_IsConstruct(x interface{}) *bool

Creates or updates a canary.
Canaries are scripts that monitor your endpoints and APIs from the outside-in. Canaries help you check the availability and latency of your web services and troubleshoot anomalies by investigating load time data, screenshots of the UI, logs, and metrics. You can set up a canary to run continuously or just once.
To create canaries, you must have the `CloudWatchSyntheticsFullAccess` policy. If you are creating a new IAM role for the canary, you also need the the `iam:CreateRole` , `iam:CreatePolicy` and `iam:AttachRolePolicy` permissions. For more information, see [Necessary Roles and Permissions](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudWatch/latest/monitoring/CloudWatch_Synthetics_Canaries_Roles) .
Do not include secrets or proprietary information in your canary names. The canary name makes up part of the Amazon Resource Name (ARN) for the canary, and the ARN is included in outbound calls over the internet. For more information, see [Security Considerations for Synthetics Canaries](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudWatch/latest/monitoring/servicelens_canaries_security.html) .
Example:
// The code below shows an example of how to instantiate this type. // The values are placeholders you should change. import "github.com/aws/aws-cdk-go/awscdk" cfnCanary := awscdk.Aws_synthetics.NewCfnCanary(this, jsii.String("MyCfnCanary"), &CfnCanaryProps{ ArtifactS3Location: jsii.String("artifactS3Location"), Code: &CodeProperty{ Handler: jsii.String("handler"), // the properties below are optional S3Bucket: jsii.String("s3Bucket"), S3Key: jsii.String("s3Key"), S3ObjectVersion: jsii.String("s3ObjectVersion"), Script: jsii.String("script"), SourceLocationArn: jsii.String("sourceLocationArn"), }, ExecutionRoleArn: jsii.String("executionRoleArn"), Name: jsii.String("name"), RuntimeVersion: jsii.String("runtimeVersion"), Schedule: &ScheduleProperty{ Expression: jsii.String("expression"), // the properties below are optional DurationInSeconds: jsii.String("durationInSeconds"), }, // the properties below are optional ArtifactConfig: &ArtifactConfigProperty{ S3Encryption: &S3EncryptionProperty{ EncryptionMode: jsii.String("encryptionMode"), KmsKeyArn: jsii.String("kmsKeyArn"), }, }, DeleteLambdaResourcesOnCanaryDeletion: jsii.Boolean(false), FailureRetentionPeriod: jsii.Number(123), ResourcesToReplicateTags: []*string{ jsii.String("resourcesToReplicateTags"), }, RunConfig: &RunConfigProperty{ ActiveTracing: jsii.Boolean(false), EnvironmentVariables: map[string]*string{ "environmentVariablesKey": jsii.String("environmentVariables"), }, MemoryInMb: jsii.Number(123), TimeoutInSeconds: jsii.Number(123), }, StartCanaryAfterCreation: jsii.Boolean(false), SuccessRetentionPeriod: jsii.Number(123), Tags: []cfnTag{ &cfnTag{ Key: jsii.String("key"), Value: jsii.String("value"), }, }, VisualReference: &VisualReferenceProperty{ BaseCanaryRunId: jsii.String("baseCanaryRunId"), // the properties below are optional BaseScreenshots: []interface{}{ &BaseScreenshotProperty{ ScreenshotName: jsii.String("screenshotName"), // the properties below are optional IgnoreCoordinates: []*string{ jsii.String("ignoreCoordinates"), }, }, }, }, VpcConfig: &VPCConfigProperty{ SecurityGroupIds: []*string{ jsii.String("securityGroupIds"), }, SubnetIds: []*string{ jsii.String("subnetIds"), }, // the properties below are optional VpcId: jsii.String("vpcId"), }, })

type CfnCanary_ScheduleProperty ¶
type CfnCanary_ScheduleProperty struct { // A `rate` expression or a `cron` expression that defines how often the canary is to run. // // For a rate expression, The syntax is `rate( *number unit* )` . *unit* can be `minute` , `minutes` , or `hour` . // // For example, `rate(1 minute)` runs the canary once a minute, `rate(10 minutes)` runs it once every 10 minutes, and `rate(1 hour)` runs it once every hour. You can specify a frequency between `rate(1 minute)` and `rate(1 hour)` . // // Specifying `rate(0 minute)` or `rate(0 hour)` is a special value that causes the canary to run only once when it is started. // // Use `cron( *expression* )` to specify a cron expression. You can't schedule a canary to wait for more than a year before running. For information about the syntax for cron expressions, see [Scheduling canary runs using cron](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudWatch/latest/monitoring/CloudWatch_Synthetics_Canaries_cron.html) . // See: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-properties-synthetics-canary-schedule.html#cfn-synthetics-canary-schedule-expression // Expression *string `field:"required" json:"expression" yaml:"expression"` // How long, in seconds, for the canary to continue making regular runs according to the schedule in the `Expression` value. // // If you specify 0, the canary continues making runs until you stop it. If you omit this field, the default of 0 is used. // See: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-properties-synthetics-canary-schedule.html#cfn-synthetics-canary-schedule-durationinseconds // DurationInSeconds *string `field:"optional" json:"durationInSeconds" yaml:"durationInSeconds"` }
This structure specifies how often a canary is to make runs and the date and time when it should stop making runs.
Example:
// The code below shows an example of how to instantiate this type. // The values are placeholders you should change. import "github.com/aws/aws-cdk-go/awscdk" scheduleProperty := &ScheduleProperty{ Expression: jsii.String("expression"), // the properties below are optional DurationInSeconds: jsii.String("durationInSeconds"), }

ToString() *string ValidateProperties(_properties interface{}) }
Creates or updates a group which you can use to associate canaries with each other, including cross-Region canaries.
Using groups can help you with managing and automating your canaries, and you can also view aggregated run results and statistics for all canaries in a group.
Groups are global resources. When you create a group, it is replicated across all AWS Regions, and you can add canaries from any Region to it, and view it in any Region. Although the group ARN format reflects the Region name where it was created, a group is not constrained to any Region. This means that you can put canaries from multiple Regions into the same group, and then use that group to view and manage all of those canaries in a single view.
Each group can contain as many as 10 canaries. You can have as many as 20 groups in your account. Any single canary can be a member of up to 10 groups.
Example:
// The code below shows an example of how to instantiate this type. // The values are placeholders you should change. import "github.com/aws/aws-cdk-go/awscdk" cfnGroup := awscdk.Aws_synthetics.NewCfnGroup(this, jsii.String("MyCfnGroup"), &CfnGroupProps{ Name: jsii.String("name"), // the properties below are optional ResourceArns: []*string{ jsii.String("resourceArns"), }, Tags: []cfnTag{ &cfnTag{ Key: jsii.String("key"), Value: jsii.String("value"), }, }, })
