AWS::ResourceExplorer2 Construct Library

This module is part of the AWS Cloud Development Kit project.

import resourceexplorer2 "github.com/aws/aws-cdk-go/awscdk"

There are no official hand-written (L2) constructs for this service yet. Here are some suggestions on how to proceed:

There are no hand-written (L2) constructs for this service yet. However, you can still use the automatically generated L1 constructs, and use this service exactly as you would using CloudFormation directly.

For more information on the resources and properties available for this service, see the CloudFormation documentation for AWS::ResourceExplorer2.

(Read the CDK Contributing Guide and submit an RFC if you are interested in contributing to this construct library.)

Functions

func CfnDefaultViewAssociation_CFN_RESOURCE_TYPE_NAME

func CfnDefaultViewAssociation_CFN_RESOURCE_TYPE_NAME() *string

func CfnDefaultViewAssociation_IsCfnElement

func CfnDefaultViewAssociation_IsCfnElement(x interface{}) *bool

Returns `true` if a construct is a stack element (i.e. part of the synthesized cloudformation template).

Uses duck-typing instead of `instanceof` to allow stack elements from different versions of this library to be included in the same stack.

Returns: The construct as a stack element or undefined if it is not a stack element.

func CfnDefaultViewAssociation_IsCfnResource

func CfnDefaultViewAssociation_IsCfnResource(x interface{}) *bool

Check whether the given object is a CfnResource.

func CfnDefaultViewAssociation_IsConstruct

func CfnDefaultViewAssociation_IsConstruct(x interface{}) *bool

Checks if `x` is a construct.

Use this method instead of `instanceof` to properly detect `Construct` instances, even when the construct library is symlinked.

Explanation: in JavaScript, multiple copies of the `constructs` library on disk are seen as independent, completely different libraries. As a consequence, the class `Construct` in each copy of the `constructs` library is seen as a different class, and an instance of one class will not test as `instanceof` the other class. `npm install` will not create installations like this, but users may manually symlink construct libraries together or use a monorepo tool: in those cases, multiple copies of the `constructs` library can be accidentally installed, and `instanceof` will behave unpredictably. It is safest to avoid using `instanceof`, and using this type-testing method instead.

Returns: true if `x` is an object created from a class which extends `Construct`.

func CfnIndex_CFN_RESOURCE_TYPE_NAME

func CfnIndex_CFN_RESOURCE_TYPE_NAME() *string

func CfnIndex_IsCfnElement

func CfnIndex_IsCfnElement(x interface{}) *bool

Returns: The construct as a stack element or undefined if it is not a stack element.

Sets the specified view as the default for the AWS Region in which you call this operation.

If a user makes a search query that doesn't explicitly specify the view to use, Resource Explorer chooses this default view automatically for searches performed in this AWS Region .

Example:

// The code below shows an example of how to instantiate this type.
// The values are placeholders you should change.
import "github.com/aws/aws-cdk-go/awscdk"

cfnDefaultViewAssociation := awscdk.Aws_resourceexplorer2.NewCfnDefaultViewAssociation(this, jsii.String("MyCfnDefaultViewAssociation"), &CfnDefaultViewAssociationProps{

Turns on Resource Explorer in the AWS Region in which you called this operation by creating an index.

Resource Explorer begins discovering the resources in this Region and stores the details about the resources in the index so that they can be queried by using the [Search](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/resource-explorer/latest/apireference/API_Search.html) operation.

You can create either a local index that returns search results from only the AWS Region in which the index exists, or you can create an aggregator index that returns search results from all AWS Regions in the AWS account .

For more details about what happens when you turn on Resource Explorer in an AWS Region , see [Turning on Resource Explorer to index your resources in an AWS Region](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/resource-explorer/latest/userguide/manage-service-activate.html) in the *AWS Resource Explorer User Guide.*

If this is the first AWS Region in which you've created an index for Resource Explorer, this operation also creates a service-linked role in your AWS account that allows Resource Explorer to search for your resources and populate the index.

Example:

// The code below shows an example of how to instantiate this type.
// The values are placeholders you should change.
import "github.com/aws/aws-cdk-go/awscdk"

cfnIndex := awscdk.Aws_resourceexplorer2.NewCfnIndex(this, jsii.String("MyCfnIndex"), &CfnIndexProps{
	Type: jsii.String("type"),

	// the properties below are optional
	Tags: map[string]*string{
		"tagsKey": jsii.String("tags"),
	},
})

Creates a view that users can query by using the [Search](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/resource-explorer/latest/apireference/API_Search.html) operation. Results from queries that you make using this view include only resources that match the view's `Filters` .

Example:

// The code below shows an example of how to instantiate this type.
// The values are placeholders you should change.
import "github.com/aws/aws-cdk-go/awscdk"

cfnView := awscdk.Aws_resourceexplorer2.NewCfnView(this, jsii.String("MyCfnView"), &CfnViewProps{
	ViewName: jsii.String("viewName"),

	// the properties below are optional
	Filters: &FiltersProperty{
		FilterString: jsii.String("filterString"),
	},
	IncludedProperties: []interface{}{
		&IncludedPropertyProperty{
			Name: jsii.String("name"),
		},
	},
	Scope: jsii.String("scope"),
	Tags: map[string]*string{
		"tagsKey": jsii.String("tags"),
	},
})
