An easy solution to use conventional commits from your command line on any project.

Installing

From Homebrew

brew install makepad-fr/oss/concom

Usage

Global configuration

The global configuration helps you commit with conventional commits from anywhere as soon as it's a git repository. It'll also add a custom git command to use concom in a more user-friendly way.

To run the global configuration run:

concom config

Local configuration

Having a local configuration inside a git project helps all project contributors use the same scopes and same conventions.

To configure a git project locally. From the git project's root run:

concom init
