func GetUserData(event *etw.DDEventRecord) etw.UserData

GetUserData gets the user data from the event record. Because this is a pointer into the event record, it will not persist beyond the lifetime of the event record. the data must be copied if it needs to be used after the event record out of scope.

func NewEtw

func NewEtw() (etw.Component, error)

NewEtw returns a new etw component. It is exported so that it can be used by consumers that aren't components themselves.
