Overview ¶
Package policysimulator is an auto-generated package for the Policy Simulator API.
Policy Simulator is a collection of endpoints for creating, running, and viewing a Replay. A Replay is a type of simulation that lets you see how your members’ access to resources might change if you changed your IAM policy. During a Replay, Policy Simulator re-evaluates, or replays, past access attempts under both the current policy and your proposed policy, and compares those results to determine how your members’ access might change under the proposed policy.

To get started with this package, create a client.

The client will use your default application credentials. Clients should be reused instead of created as needed. The methods of Client are safe for concurrent use by multiple goroutines. The returned client must be Closed when it is done being used.

Use of Context ¶
The ctx passed to NewSimulatorClient is used for authentication requests and for creating the underlying connection, but is not used for subsequent calls. Individual methods on the client use the ctx given to them.
To close the open connection, use the Close() method.

If Poll succeeds and the operation has completed successfully, op.Done will return true, and the response of the operation is returned. If Poll succeeds and the operation has not completed, the returned response and error are both nil.
